Hope

I started this piece with only the intention of painting a lake. I wanted to do something pretty but ethereal and keep the color palette simple. After putting down the basic shape of the lake, the boat happened. The lake was too empty.
And then the hand happened.

I don't know why it turned into something so strange and surreal, but I love the final outcome.
